Liquid Personnel are looking for and Assistant Team Leader to work in the Scottish Borders

The team provides support & assistance to adults living within the area from the ages of 16 and above – needing support and assistance to live independently. The Team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and paraprofessionals.

Primary responsibilities of the role: 

The successful post holder will be responsible for the leadership and operational guidance for assessment, care management and reviewing services within the team and other responsibilities such as

• Screening of referrals
• Authorisations of assessments & support plans, dealing with self-directed support matters, duty etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of Legislations and Polices pertinent to the service, and overall understanding of processes and IT skills required in Adult services.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker: 

• Social Work Scotland registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
