Job Title: Children’s Residential Support Worker

Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex

Salary: £29,808 – £30,474 Incl sleep ins

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Role Overview: Liquid personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to children living in a six bedded residential home. You will collaborate closely with a team to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Care: Assist with day-to-day activities such as mealtime, hygiene, and bedtime routines.
• Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to children.
• Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other staff, parents, and relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• Experience of working with children in a residential care setting
• Full UK driving License
• Resilience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to take on challenges and adapt to the needs of the children
• Level 3 in residential childcare is desirable
