To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. Primary Responsibilities as a Child Protection Social Worker:  

• Safeguarding children who are at significant risk of harm, including assessing and managing risks
• Taking professional responsibility for decision making
• Provide an effective Social Work service including assessment, case planning and reviews Requirements
• Social Work Degree
• Registration with SSSC
• Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks; policy and procedure; and best practice.
• Have a high level of determination, organizations skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to achieve challenging targets and improve outcomes
• Demonstrate sound assessment and case management skills
• Be able to work in a busy environment and to tight time scales

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker: 

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
