Requirements for SENCO:

• An honors’ degree, a PGCE or equivalent and QTS.
• Special Educational Needs Coordinator qualification or the willingness to undertake this qualification.
• Experience of teaching KS3, KS4 or KS5.
• Experience of working as a SENCO or working within an SEN department e.g. Assistant SENCO.
• Experience of setting targets and monitoring, evaluating, and recording progress.
