Social Worker/Best Interest Assessor – DoLS team – Doncaster – £32 per hour

Responsibilities:

– Conduct various assessments under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) process.
– Collaborate with Independent Mental Capacity Advocates (IMCA) and relevant representatives as needed.
– Explore alternative management options when appropriate.
– Perform Best Interest Assessments as required, even outside the service area.
– Assist in training other assessors and monitor service quality.
– Provide support on Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and DoLS matters, including complex cases.
