Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection and Child in Need team in Middlesbrough.
As a Social Worker, you will:

• Caseload Management: Handle complex and high-risk cases involving child protection, care support, and legal actions, providing support to at-risk adults and children, along with their families and carers.
• Assessment and Planning: Conduct assessments, create care plans, including educational plans, and coordinate external support within budget limits.
• Collaboration and Support: Partner with services for resource optimization, apply social work techniques tailored to individual needs, and offer professional support to ensure evidence-based plans are in place and reviewed.
• Safeguarding and Mentoring: Protect the welfare of at-risk individuals, respond to crises, mentor new social workers, and make ‘best interest’ decisions, including court-related activities.

As a Social Worker, you are required to:

• Hold a Social Work England registration.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK licence.
• Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
