Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection team in Wrexham.

As a Social Worker, you will:

• Case Management and Decision-Making:

Manage an allocated caseload, including high-complexity and high-risk cases related to child protection, care and support, deprivation of liberty, and court actions.

Provide social worker support to adults and children at risk, along with their families and carers.

• Assessments and Care Plans:
• Undertake assessments and design care and support plans.
• Determine external support from appropriate providers within allocated budget parameters.
• Collaboration and Resource Deployment:
• Work in partnership with other services to optimize resource deployment.
• Adapt and apply social worker techniques to meet individual needs independently and in collaboration with others.
• Promoting Positive Outcomes and Safeguarding:
• Take appropriate action to ensure evidence-based plans for referred individuals.
• Safeguard the welfare of adults and children at risk, making decisions in their best interest. 

As a Social Worker, you are required to:

• Hold a Social Work England registration.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK licence.
• Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
