Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join a busy First Response Team based in Merton.

The First Response Team is a ‘front door’ into Adult Social Care.  We look after people 18+ but not Mental Health or Learning Disability.  The work is to give advice and information, screen and take referrals for assessment.  There is a lot of safeguarding work as well as assessment and care management functions but we are a short term team so a high turnover is required.

Essential requirements for the role/System knowledge required:

• They need to have experience of Care Act assessments, NHS Continuing Healthcare assessments, Safeguarding Adults Enquiries in a community setting and be able to undertake assessment and care management functions including presenting to Outcomes Forum for funding decisions.
• They need to be able to work at a fast pace as we are a short term team dealing with crisis work and we only hold cases for 4 to 6 weeks ideally.
• We use MOSAIC so experience of this system would be an advantage.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
