Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for Social Worker to join a busy Locality Team based in Merton.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge and experience of working with a range of service users and be able to adapt to the needs of individuals, and a good understanding of strengths based and person centred approaches. You will have strong assessments skills, written and verbal, and excellent communication with service users and their families.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

• Experience working with older adults and/ or adults experiencing the impact of physical, or cognitive, or learning disabilities
  • Experience of working in community based/ locality based adult social worker teams
  • You will be responsible for the day to day management of your assigned cases, intervening with legal and procedural authority, including under making safeguarding personal principals to protect vulnerable people at risk of abuse or neglect.  
  • You will need to have experience of undertaking care Act assessment, support planning, Mental Capacity Assessments and making best interests decisions.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
