Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting an experience Qualified Social Worker to join the Children & Families Team in Calderdale,  who have a Child Protection, Child in Need or Child Looked After plan and varying needs of complexities.

As an Experienced Social Worker, you will:

• Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the CIN Team, identifying risks, strengths, and support needs.
• Developing and implementing child-centered care plans in partnership with children, young people, families, and relevant professionals, focusing on achieving positive outcomes and promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
• Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including practical and emotional support, advocacy, and signposting to relevant services and resources.
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies, including health professionals, schools, police, and voluntary organizations, to coordinate multi-agency support packages and facilitate timely interventions.
• Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of children and families.
• Participating in case conferences, child protection meetings, and court proceedings as required, representing the interests of children and providing evidence-based assessments and recommendations.

As a Social Worker you are required to:

• Hold a Social Work England registration
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
