Social Worker – Northamptonshire – Safeguarding Team

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Safeguarding Team based in Northamptonshire.

As an Adult Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults within our community. You’ll work closely with individuals, families, and other professionals to promote independence, well-being, and social inclusion. Your compassionate approach and strong assessment skills will contribute to positive outcomes for those you serve.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

  1. Assessments and Support Planning:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs, considering physical, emotional, and social factors.
    • Develop personalised support plans that empower clients to achieve their goals.
    • Collaborate with health professionals, care providers, and community resources to coordinate services.
  2. Safeguarding and Risk Management:
    • Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns promptly.
    • Assess risks related to vulnerable adults and implement appropriate interventions.
    • Work within legal frameworks to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  3. Direct Work with Clients:
    • Provide emotional support, counselling, and advocacy.
    • Assist clients in accessing relevant services, benefits, and housing.
    • Facilitate group sessions and workshops to enhance social skills and resilience.
  4. Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working:
    • Liaise with healthcare professionals, housing officers, police, and other agencies.
    • Attend case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings.
    • Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the wider system.
  5. Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
    • Complete assessments, care plans, and reports in a timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality guidelines.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
