Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for experienced and Qualified Adult Social Workers to join a busy safeguarding Team based in Sutton.

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. 

You will also have experience of working with adults with disabilities, have good assessments knowledge and have a confident and thorough understanding of all legislation.

As a Substance Misuse Social Worker, you will carry out assessments, case manage, and offer advice, support, information and guidance to adults who use substances including those who are open to formal safeguarding processes where the abuse or neglect is linked to their substance misuse. This can be linked to, for example, mental health, homelessness, domestic violence, self-neglect amongst others. To undertake this role you will have a clear understanding of the Care Act and Local Authorities statutory duties.

1. You will need to be dynamic, innovative and committed, experienced in and committed to working in a strength based way with external stakeholders, people and their families, as well as colleagues within local authority.
2. You will be an expert in using a relationship-based model of social work practice and positive risk management.
3. You will work with treatment and other relevant services in Sutton. to ensure the right level of support is provided to enable someone to continue to live in their community and improve health and wellbeing
